EDI Live: Oct 17 // Making Art Over Time

Each month, Light Tier members are invited onto a live online painting class where we'll go deeper into the month's practices and ideas. If you'd like to join in, click here.

Hello Light Tier friends!

Our next live class is this Saturday, October 18 at 12pm PST.

I hope you're able to come paint with us. For access, make sure you're on the Light Tier, and then just follow the Google Meet link below on the day of class. I'm excited to see you!

In our class we'll be exploring the relationship between art-making and time, especially the way that we may come back to a piece in layers over time. If you happen to have any unfinished sketches, or sketchbooks with incomplete pages, have them close by and perhaps you'll find a new way to interact with them. (And if you don't have any partial works, that's okay too! Our exercises will allow for working on new or old sketches.)

You're invited to come 10 min early to say hi and get set up, and then we'll start the class right on time. Excited to see you!

What to expect: I would be so happy if you painted along with me, but everything's optional - painting, having your camera/mic on, etc. Each month I will share a bit more about how I use the main practice for the month and demonstrate some ideas to try, while keeping it open for conversation and questions with a relaxed feel.
